People residing in Multan are Saraiki speaking, a native language derived from Punjabi. It is an historic city, dated back to almost 5000 years. It is the city on which Alexander the great dared not to attack and returned back. It is the home town of sweet mangoes. Multan is an extremely beautiful city. It had historic places such as tomb of Bahauddin Zakriya , Multan Fort . People of Multan are very friendly. They take pride in helping others. It is also a hub of a variety of foods. Sohn Halwa and Halwa Pori are the famous dishes which are usually eaten during the winter season.
